About Dr. Hayes
Growing up in Tampa Bay, I had an incredibly loving and caring pediatrician who made me feel special at every stage of development. Her influence in my early life left an indelible impression. So much so, when it came to choosing a career path, I set my sights on becoming a pediatrician.

As an attending physician, I have served the needs of local families for over 10 years, doing outpatient pediatrics and providing newborn care at Brandon Regional and Bayfront Hospitals. Over the years, I have felt my practice of medicine drifting further and further from the ambition I had when I started: to develop strong, supportive relationships with my patients and their parents, to apply my education and skills to tackle complex clinical challenges, and to build trust and loving care into the doctor-patient dynamic.

I was inspired to start Hayes Pediatrics to restore my vision of working closely with parents to address their health and wellness concerns, and help their children to experience healthy, thriving childhoods. My practice is different by design -- it is built on the pillars of accessibility, trust and individual care. My goal is to provide Tampa Bay families with a preferred choice: a dedicated pediatrician who knows her patients and their families intimately, is accessible when needed, and possesses the abilities, experience and network of pediatric medical specialists, to be able to address the full range of parent’s pediatric needs and concerns.

I currently live in South Tampa with my husband Alex Hayes, an interventional radiologist, and our three beautiful, busy boys - Brody (2014), Hudson (2017) and Dylan (2020). As a family, we enjoy beach days, our boys’ sports activities and charitable fun runs, while I love cooking healthy meals and fitness.
